VERY DISSAPOINTED IN MY EXPERIENCE WITH AMERICARGO

I felt the need to express my concerns and let others be aware of the situation. I had let the broker know that it is very IMPORTANT for me to receive my car on Tuesday (when my flight arrives to Orlando). Americargo explained that in order to have it delivered by Tuesday (5/17) they would need to pick up the car earlier than Saturday, so I allowed them to pick it up on Wednesday (5/11) whihc they did come pick up on time and the driver was very kind. On Tuesday, when I arrived to Orlando, I called the company to see when the expected time of arrival is..no answer. Then the broker called them SEVERAL times and was kept being told that Maggie is out of the office. Finally I was able to get a hold of the driver who told me I need to contact the dispatcher. He had no idea when the car was arriving to Orlando. Finally I was able to get a hold of Maggie, who I felt was not honest with me because she told me there was a delay and the car should arrive the following day. I understand that things happen, delays happen, so I was a little disappointed because because I had given my car early to that it could arrive on time, but I let it go and was expecting it to arrive Wednesday. I call Wednesday to ask the time of arrival and Maggie informs me that the driver is delayed and it might take up to Midnight for him to arrive. At this point, I got frustrated. I STILL said ok and called that evening to find out when to expect my car. She again tells me there's a hold up and it wont be arriving till Thursday morning. NOW I was really frustrated. I have been using taxis to get around. FINALLY Thursday late afternoon, the car arrives (5/19). I expressed my concern and frustration to the driver and he told me he left Chicago TUESDAY. WHY WAS MY CAR TAKEN 6 DAYS IN ADVANCE IF MY CAR LEFT TUESDAY??? I WAS EXPECTING THE CAR IN ORLANDO, NOT EXPECTING IT TO LEAVE CHICAGO TUESDAY! AND WHY DID MAGGIE NOT TELL ME THAT ON THE PHONE WHEN I SPOKE TO HER? If the team had just told me from the beginning from the first time I called that there is going to be a delay of a couple days, I would have just rented a car. BUT I kept assuming it was arriving soon as Maggie kept saying that. I spent over 100 in taxi services getting around. The broker I went through called me apologizing and was very nice and she also felt frustrated with the lack of communication and dishonesty from Americargo. This morning, I called Maggie to express my concerns and thoughts, and she was not very nice about it. She never apologized for the lack of honesty or the frustration she caused me. I felt that I should have been reimbursed at least something for the money I had to spend on transportation while my car wasn't here, but nope, she didn't seem to care, which is fine. I had many family members and friends who I was going to suggest the company to, but now I will not be. Car transportation is a serious business, and communication and honesty is VERY important. I understand delays happen and things occur, but I expect honest communication, which I felt I did not receive. I will not be using this company in the future.
