I reached out to Amerifreight to assist me in moving my SUV from Cincinnati, Ohio to San Francisco, California. I was given a quote of $1,600 and an estimate of 5-7 days to move the vehicle. The company that the move was sub-contracted to was BUYA Transportation. The vehicle was picked up later than was communicated. I received communication that the vehicle would be picked up during the day on Thursday, May 8th., The driver ended up arriving at mid-night. The estimated delivery date was May, 14th and 15th. I was really counting on the vehicle to be delivered no later the May 15th and received assurances from Amerifreight and the driver that it would be delivered by the following Thursday. When I called on Wednesday to inquire about the status of the Thursday delivery, I learned that the vehicle had broken down and would be approximately 3 days late, over the weekend. This presented a real problem for me as I had to travel out of town. I made arrangements to have someone available over the weekend to receive the vehicle. No show, no communication. I called Monday and was told the vehicle would be delivered on Tuesday. No show. I called and was told it would be Wednesday. Wednesday came and I received no communications. I had to call repeatedly. The vehicle was finally delivered at 9:30pm on Wednesday, 13 days later.
