After doing a great deal of research on car transport companies, I decided to use AmeriFreight and I'm so happy I did! Jorge was incredibly helpful from the beginning in helping us decide the package that made most sense for us. We did not have much flexibility with our dates, so we decided to pay a little more for a premium service and our car was picked up right when we wanted! I also liked the fact that Amerifreight has a parking facility in Anaheim where we could have left our car in case it wasn't picked up before we left Los Angeles (I didn't find any other car transport companies that offered this).
We received an email about a week before alerting us of the pick-up window and then arranged the pick-up with the carrier 2 days before hand. The car took 14 days, however that was only because our first available date of pickup was not until 14 days after the pick up date. Once the car actually left LA, it only took 5 days to get here.
Every time I called AmeriFreight, they were incredibly friendly and were able to provide me with an update as to when my car would be leaving/arriving.
Pickup was easy - we met at a nearby hotel (less than 5 miles away) and got our car, which was just how we left it (just a little dirty - but that's expected). I must admit, I was extremely nervous shipping our car cross-country, but Amerifreight made the process stress-free. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone else!
