We shipped our F-150 truck from California to Maryland in September 2012. We had what we thought was "plenty of time" so we started out offering the bargain rate ($895) to the shipping companies. Graham contacted us after only 10 days saying that there was a company willing to ship for $1200 - $300 more than the bargain price. He suggested we take it, but we wanted to wait a little longer to see if anyone would take the truck at the cheaper rate. Well, Graham was right- we ended up shipping the truck at a higher rate ($1400) at a later date. Everything worked out just fine but we should have taken the $1200 rate.
Once the truck was shipped it got there in a timely manner and it was in good condition.
The only thing that I would change is to have gotten updates more frequently, maybe every 5-7 days vice just when there is an offer to ship the truck. However the staff at Amerifreight was responsive and always willing to assist when i called.
