AmeriFrieght was successful in shipping our 2 cars across the country. We worked with Bob for almost a month to arrange the shipment - and the final arrangements were made at the very last possible moment before we left the origin to fly across the country. But the cars were successfully shipped with NO noticeable damage as of yet (24 hours after arrival) and arrived on schedule at the destination.
The initial quote was for $1600 dollars and the final price was $2300. This seemed a little more than what we desired to spend, but compared to the other prices we received, it was average to spend $1000 per vehicle to ship from New York to Los Angeles. Bob was helpfuly and knowledgeable about the process and told us upfront that we might need to spend more than our initial offer of $1600. He was efficient and timely responding to both e-mails and phone calls. He was always polite and friendly. Bob provided written terms and conditions outlining the contract and was complete in explaining the services offered and the implications of the contract. He explained the entire shipping process upfront. The driver (AK) assigned was also polite, helpful, and timely. He maintained contact via phone while the vehicles were in his possession and updated us on his location. He was helpful at both the origin and pickup locations arranging for a suitable location to pick up both vehicles.
