My son, being more familiar with computers then I am, placed the order. ASAP was well aware of his handling of the matter from the inception of the agreement on 6/12/07. ASAP had 29 days to confirm the information on the order was all correct and verify it before they sent a trucking company to pick up the car. As usual from reading the complaints on this site they pass the blame back to you. It sure seems to me that the booking agency is responsible for providing and verifying the information the trucking company needs since they are the ones who book the transport and are paid for the service. ASAP sent the shipping order invoice for our review AFTER the car was picked up and my son noted to them in an e-mail and by phone both that there was only one number listed for the trucking company to reach us and the original order had 2 numbers. Shawn the office manager responded with a very childish email telling him that the back and forth emails are unnecessary when THEY were the ones who wanted the contract reviewed for changes that might need to be made. Communications was terrible and yes my son tried to find out when the car would be shipped or at least a general idea and as shown in the numerous reports filed on this site he got the same old song and dance. . ASAP assigned a carrier 3 days before the 30 days expired and wanted 50 dollars MORE to transport the car. It has been 30 days since the order was placed and we have yet to see a car that we were told would be picked in approximately 1-10 days from the time the order was placed. I am not at all impressed with their performance and would never use them or recommend them to anyone!
