My main complaint is that the driver for West Coast Auto Transport, Terry tried to ask for an additional $150 in cash before he would deliver my three vehicles. My original quote #692411 was lost so Malerie re-quoted but did not add the non-running extra shipment charge of $150. I called to contract w/1st choice on July 19th and Chris claimed she needed to add the additional charge to total $2810. I was told they would be picked up in 3-5 days and delivered within 10 days. I said that was perfect we were going out of town on vacation and would be back well before they arrived. I received a call from my shipper (my mom) that the driver Terry with West Coast Tran was coming that next day July 20th but it would be late. I tried to track my shipment and the message said to call 1st choice, it was 10:30pm, too late to call. I sent an email and received back on Friday morning a shipment notification that the vehicles were being picked up the previous day, the 20th and would arrive on the 26th. I tried to arrange payment with West Coast Auto Tran and was informed that they didn't know one of the vehicles was not-running and that their driver may not have a hoist on his rig.Terry from West Coast Tran did pick them up but not until the 21st and delivered them to my house on the 23rd at 9pm. I had to postpone my vacation departure on Friday until 2pm to deposit cash from my credit card into my bank account, have a cashier's check that I had to pay for issued, then drop this off with my friend who would be receiving the cars as we would be on vacation as I had explained to Chris at 1st Choice. I wasn't informed that the balance could not be charged to my credit card like the deposit was. The driver Terry called me Sunday to inform me that I would need to have an additional $150 in cash when he delivered the cars because there was an additional charge for one vehicle not running. I had already explained this to Malerie (1st Choice), Chris (1st Choice), Tabitha (West Coast Auto Tran), Jennifer (West Coast Auto Tran) and Terry (West Coast Auto Tran). He knew my friend had the pre-printed cashier's check and would not have any additional monies upon delivery. I let Terry know that I had the copy of the Sales Order Contract from my mom and I had emailed it to my friend with the balance clearly written by him for $2360 and no additional charges. As well he had signed this paper when he gave it to my mom.
