Had a shipment delivered to us for a reasonable price. After speaking to the carrier who was a reputable professional with a nice rig we find out that part of the bid price of $1500 goes to UShip! It was about $300. He actually used their system to mark up the price he needed to fairly haul the load. He only wanted $1200 for the trip. I explained to the owner operator that I also have to pay another $200 at my end! So the carrier is charged a fee as well as the shipper/receiver! That’s double dipping and highway robbery. I got the carriers number and have called him direct for future loads. Why? Because I paid $1700 for a load the carrier was more than happy to do for $1200. Uship, never again will I use you. Rip off and a bunch of con artists.
