My wife was set up with this company through a broker. She had explained to them that we needed to have everything packed for us since I'm handicapped and can't do it myself and she had already gone across the country to start her new job. She gave them a full inventory of what we had in the house in terms of furniture, and estimates on the other things like clothes, books, dishes, etc. They quoted us a price of around $4,500 for going from VA to AZ. We were given a two day window in which they would show up. The day before the window we received a text saying that they would be there in the morning, but they didn't arrive until 3:30 in the afternoon. When they got there they said that they didn't know anything about having to do any of the packing. They spent the next 7 hours packing everything up, and breaking some wedding mementos in the process. They also broke the blinds on our patio door, as well as the frame for the screen on it. We had to hire a handyman to come in and fix these after they were gone. They left trash all over our front yard and used packing tape rolls, and scraps of tape, all over the house. I had to keep showing them things they missed, some of those things they just moved to a new spot in the house until I pointed it out again. A couple of things they put in places that were hard to see, like the mop and broom were put just outside of the door so I didn't see them until I walked the dog before bed. When they were done they said we owed them almost $14,000. They said this was because we didn't tell them they would be packing so they had to charge for the materials, and because we didn't give them a full inventory they only estimated on 500 cubic feet and we used more than 1700. Anytime i tried to read through the paperwork before signing, they rushed me through it without me having a chance to read more than the first couple of lines. Then they asked when I wanted the stuff delivered by and I said April 1, it was March 29 at the time. They looked at me and said no. Then they wrote down April 5. It's now April 16 and my stuff still hasn't been delivered. On top of all of that, they didn't even get the inventory right. They put us down as having 3 TV's when we only have 2, 2 patio chairs when we have 1, etc. We've been trying to get in touch with them since the 5th to find out when we'll be getting our stuff, but they don't return calls or texts. We contacted the broker who set us up with them and even they have had trouble getting in touch with them. They also wanted payment in form of a check. We happened to have a couple of temporary checks in the house, but I'm not on the checking account. They refused to take credit cards and insisted that I write a check and sign my wife's name. Then they had the nerve to tell us how much to tip them. They are very hard to find online. The only positive reviews I found for this company are on a site called thumbtack.com and all 4 reviews gave 5 stars and were left on the 6th, 7th, and 8th of May 2020. No one else is able to leave a review for them, so it seems a little fishy to me. I wish I had known that before having them move our stuff.
