The absolute worst. Avoid like the plague. Shady people and business practices and nothing but pure frustration and people being total jerks. Terrible delivery. There was zero communication about the delivery from the driver. The driver shows up in the middle of the day on Thanksgiving day with no prior notice. The car was to be delivered to my father who is a 2 hour drive away from the delivery location. My father is in the middle of his thanksgiving meal but kindly offers to leave to meet the driver. The driver refuses to wait and refuses to reschedule and just wants to dump the car and demands payment by Zelle. My father is an old man who doesn't use Zelle or credit cards. He only uses and can pay by cash. The driver then offers redelivery on another day but at a cost of $500 more OR he can meet my father where he is to pick up the cash payment. We say, ok to unloading the car and cash payment pickup is directly on the way to the driver's next location. It is a direct route, fastest interstate option and zero tolls. So we think everything is going to be ok. Then the driver says he won't pick up the cash payment. What the f? And he demands a card payment or else they are raising the price by $200. I decide to step in for my old father and pay by card so this can be over with and he can enjoy his thanksgiving. I tell them to just unload the car and send me a picture of it unloaded and a picture of where the keys are being left. They tell me to pay them first. I reminded them that the payment is due upon delivery and when the car is unloaded and I needed the pictures and then I would pay. They threaten me some more with making me pay $500 more for redelivery, but then they finally do unload the car and send me the pics I asked for. Then they ask for payment. Some strange unidentifiable guy through text wants me to send my card info to him. I kindly ask him to send me an e-invoice and a secure link to pay by card-- the same way that I paid the deposit. Giving a card number out over text is too shady and open to fraud. We argue about this until a mysterious link is sent to me and honestly I have no idea who it came from because it's not from the business name, it's just "Vera". I decide to take a chance and just pay it because I know if it's fraud but paid this way my credit card will reimburse me. While I'm trying to pay and input my card info I am being texted nasty threats by these guys that they are going to take my car away and charge me hundreds of dollars more. What the heck? I finish the payment and send two forms of receipt proof. And then they're trying to tell me my payment didn't go through, but I sent them proof it did. They say they are trying to reload my car and going to charge me more. I show them again my payment went through. BEWARE- This is a total wracket and scam they are running from start to finish. They will try everything to shake you down during delivery. This was a total setup. I also want to warn everyone that the initial price you are quoted and sign a contract for will change throughout this process; they bait and switch you when you have no choice but to comply. I had to keep resigning new contracts because they won't keep their agreement and in the end there's nothing you can do once they have your car. The price just rises. And then they will use this setup by not notifying you of the delivery date and time so they can try and and jack up the price so they can make more money off of you. You are a prisoner to payment they scalp you on. They are total pirates. Beware. Expect the worst. Hope for the best. Edit: I want to add additional negative experience that I have had this morning with the broker and the driver. This morning my father arrived to find the keys to the car locked inside the vehicle in the ignition with no way to access them or open the car. Obviously, this was done on purpose because they were being jerks. We asked and agreed for the keys to be left in the mailbox. So this is another negative bs experience with these low class scumbag road pirates. Anyway, The driver continues to contact me this morning fraudulently claiming that they have not received payment. They use Square as an electronic payment method and I paid through the Square link I was sent by them with my AmEx. I sent them proof again with transaction numbers on the receipts from both sources that the payment has processed and been received. I direct them to do their due diligence with Square and Amex and find out via the transaction numbers on both receipts what is going on on their end. Obviously, this is more of their shakedown and fraud to try and get me to pay TWICE and I'm not falling for it. I finally had to threaten the driver back and the trucking company that if they returned to the property to take my car away that it was trespassing and the police would be called and grand theft auto charges would be filed. I have proof of payment being processed and a contract. They are trying to be fraudulent bullying scammers. BEWARE. Additionally I was contacted by the broker to remove this bad review for a 100 bucks and they take no responsibility for all of the problems with this delivery. They say the communication for delivery wasn't their fault. Martin Harris the agent with US Trucking would not help me at all yesterday on Thanksgiving to help peacefully resolve this issue and he had the contact info and abilities to reach the driver and everyone involved to resolve this. He neglected to help while he stuffed his face with mashed potatoes at his own thanksgiving holiday. It ruined the holiday for my elderly father and for myself and interrupted my father's thanksgiving meal with a great deal of stress on an old nice man. I had to go through great lengths to communicate with all sides of US Star Trucking and the driver. Nobody was helpful or kind. It was all threats and scalping. Now the trucking company is offering me $150 to take down this review and leave only a 5 star review and lie to the public, but it is not enough to be worth it to me. I'd rather the public know the trouble I went through and the threats to my property, the $500 + $500 = $1000 attempt at price gouging on the delivery, the overall terrible dishonest service, the scammer setup of not communicating the delivery date and time (especially on thanksgiving), the upset they caused my elderly father (and mother too), leaving the keys locked in the car inaccessible, and then trying to fraudulently get me to pay twice again this morning by saying the payment didn't go through when it did (I sent proof again). I am very unhappy with the service and experience. Avoid these guys like the plague. They also estimated it would take 5-6 days to arrive and it took 7 days, but this is the least of the issues. Edit: 2 the company is offering me more money to remove this review. They texted me "how much you want?" to take it down, but I don't want money. I didn't reply with any amount. I am not trying to extort them of cash. They have said I just want money, but really let's get real-- they are the shady people here and it's only my time that's been wasted with all this back and forth and writing reviews. I want the public informed about the kind of business and business practices you are dealing with when you work with these people. BEWARE. Edit 3: the company is attempting to have this review removed because they don't like the facts I have documented. My documentation is 100% accurate.
