NOT military friendly

I booked Trusty Transport to ship my husband's car during a military move from Texas to California. Once I signed with them, they would only communicate through text and were very short. For example, I would call them and they would not answer but would send a text saying "just text." They also would not reply to my e-mails.

In some miscommunication with my husband, I thought we no longer needed transport, so I cancelled our order with Trusty Transport. I was ok with this because their communication was weird, but I hadn't had any problems with them up to that point. According to their contract (point 14), a customer can cancel the order before a driver or transporter had been assigned, which I did. I emailed, left a voicemail, and texted that I was canceling the order, but they never responded to me (the first bad sign).

Turns out, we did need to ship the car, but because I never heard from them again I went with another (and more expensive) company. They were unable to ship my car because Trusty Transport did not take it down from the national dispatch board they all share. When I reached out to ask them to take it down, they responded with a rude reply and said they would take it down but they never did. When they didn't I asked them to again, and said if they didn't I would have to take further action, to which they responded "Do not threaten me young lady." I have never heard from them again and they have not taken my car down from the dispatch board.

The other company I hired was able to get it taken off the dispatch board, but then Trusty Transport put it back up at a higher price, again blocking my car from getting shipped.

Because they refuse to take it down, they are blocking the other company from getting a driver, and it has been over 3 weeks since I needed my car shipped. Now my husband is at work with my car, leaving me at home with our 9 month old all day. This means that I have had to cancel check ups at the doctor, can't finish things for our move, have missed out on important meetings on post, cannot take my daughter to the park to play or for a walk, and cannot get her anywhere if an emergency happens (we live in a secluded area).

Trusty Transport says they are military friendly, but they are NOT. They are angry I hired someone else, and they are blocking me from getting my car. They are horrible with communication, extremely rude, petty, and do NOT care about the customer. They have not worked with me at all.

I would advise that no one EVER hire this company. They get 0 stars from me, but one star for being knowledgable, because they certainly know how to work the system to prevent someone from getting their car.

This all untrue. The customer booked with us and cancelled the next day because some broker quoted her lower. Of course they could never move it at that rate. It is impossible for a broker to under quote a carrier. They strung her out for 2 weeks slowly upping the money on her. They also ran her credit card day 2 and had her locked into a 30 day contract and constantly used us as their excuse. We do not use the National Load Board. She ended up paying $200 more than our original quote which surprisingly exactly what that brokers deposit/fee is on the credit card. Uuummmm She got smooth talked by a broker. Please use a carrier folks. Do not give out a cc # for any reason.
