I had one friend that had just used Shipacardirect and another that had just used another company that also has a high number of reviews on the transportreviews web site. Each of my friends also had a car shipped from CA to the east coast.

The quote from the other company was $45 cheaper, however after my friend's car had been sitting in CA for 3 days he called to ask what was up - they said "your car is already moving and halfway across the country" however my friend had been tracking the car's location via his car's Onstar locator and knew they were full of crap. He emailed them a screenshot showing his car's location still in CA and they then said that there must have been a miscommunication. So I decided not to go with this slightly cheaper option in hopes of avoiding such a "miscommunication" regarding my car.

I went with Shipacardirect and had my quote from a week prior, but did not have an exact date set as the new car had still not arrived at the dealer in CA. I then got the notice from dealer on a Tuesday evening that car had finally arrived and I could have it picked up from them on Wednesday, which of course is zero notice for my shipper but that was unavoidable. I then entered the order on the Shipacardirect web site on Tuesday evening, got email confirmation that they had the request and were working on it. On Wednesday morning I got the email update that they had sent the job to Starway Logistics and the pickup would be that same day. The car was picked up 6 hours later, and I got another email from Shipacardirect the next day reminding me to call Starway to touch base with them. I called Starway and they said they had the car and planned to start rolling from CA on Saturday (did not BS me about it already moving) and was estimated to arrive in VA on Tuesday. Well I also had the Onstar location services active and updated 2-3 times each day to watch the car move across the country. It left CA either late on Friday or very early on Saturday, and arrived in VA on Monday. Pretty darn good timing, less than 6 days from order input to car going 2,600+ miles and now sitting in my driveway!

I would definitely use these companies again.
