Disappointing Service

Giving this review two stars as the process was not the most transparent nor the carrier that was chosen the most reliable or safe. Carrier damaged car with a busted back window and scratches along the side of the car (Occurred same day car was picked up). There was a lack of communication from both Ship a Car Direct and the Carrier, leaving us in the dark on when the car would actually be delivered. My card was charged before confirmation of a carrier and the car was not picked up when scheduled. Emails were rarely returned (Ship a Car) and communication completely stopped. The carrier information(Nationwide Express Carrier Corp) was incorrect so no way to contact to find the location of the car. It is crucial that the process for these types of services have some sort of oversight and transparency when dealing with personal property. Beware. Look for a company that will keep you in the loop and updated throughout the entire process to reduce stress.
