I've made a few regional moves buy never shipped a car and was extremely nervous about the process after reading reviews and not knowing anyone that could recommend a good service. With a few Google searches and 5 pages into reviews I decided to request a quote from 4 different companies. Ship a Car Direct was the 3rd service to respond and did so almost immediately with a phone call. After reading all quote information and more reviews I was still skeptical but decided to go with this service due to the price and timeframe of the shipping. The reviews I read we're all around communication from the carrier company and I have to say from the moment it was assigned I was in constant contact with them. The driver called me a few days before pick up and the morning of. I followed all instructions, took pictures of every angle of my car. One hiccup was the app. If you log in prior to pick up just to check it out, once you try to log back in, you will get an error. Very annoying but I called the customer service gave me a quick work around. Pick up went extremely smooth and I was advised I would receive my car in about 7-10 days. The most speediest service ever and caught by surprise when I received a call that my car made it from Maryland to California and was ready for final delivery in LESS than a WEEK!!! Final drop off was smooth, car was dirty but I expected that and no damages. I would absolutely use this service again and have already recommended. Cross country moves are already nerve wracking, ship a car direct will provide some peace of mind when it comes to your vehicle.
