Car Damaged and Ship A Car Direct of no help

When looking to ship our car from CA to FL, we chose Ship A Car Direct, an auto transport broker advertising on the web that their "fully vetted Carriers cover your vehicle 100% or we will step in and pay out of our pocket!" Ship a Car Direct located and convinced us to use Z Brothers, an auto transport operator, to send our Mercedes from California to Florida. Ship a Car Direct stated Z Brothers was reputable. We went ahead and the Z Brothers driver admitted to smashing our Mercedes during unloading, causing over $3,300 in damages. He stated he had let his boss know immediately after it happened. Z Brothers also admitted the fault and initially said that they would pay for the damage and stated some people are not meant to be drivers. With no response from Z Brothers as to payment after one week, we contacted the direct insurance company, Progressive, to file a cargo claim on Z Brother's policy. The rep from Z Brothers was completely uncooperative with the insurance company and was not providing documents needed. According to Progressive, they were been hung up on by Z Brothers twice and their calls and emails were not returned. Due to Z Brothers not cooperating, the claim was delayed, as was the repair of our car. Progressive kept suggesting we either use our own insurance or pay out of pocket, forcing us to bear the burden financially. Ship A Car direct has done nothing at all to assist us in getting these damages paid. They also just keep suggesting we use our own insurance and they will only reimburse the deductible which is clearly contradicts their advertising. We have also since discovered what appears to be two DUI charges against the owner of Z Brothers, the company so highly recommended and "fully vetted" by Ship A Car Direct. Ship A Car Direct has a $30 rebate that they advertise, but you later find out you only get the rebate if you give them a positive review, therefore paying for positive online reviews. So beware of those. It is two months later and our car is finally now repaired, but Z Brothers is not responding regarding paying us their $2,500 deductible or the $1,200 we are out in loss of use lease payments or transportation costs for the damaged vehicle to get it to the shop for quotes and repair. We would never recommend you use Ship A Car Direct. We believe they make bold false promises and there is utterly no follow-through or care for their customers. Providing a zero star review for these reasons.
