Good service but so late

Because of the 4th of July my car wasn't picked up until 2 weeks after my desired pick-up date. I understand that the holiday was probably the reason that everything got so backed up, but I had scheduled the pick-up almost a month in advance. If the company anticipated that the holiday weekend and traffic would cause such a delay, I would've appreciated a heads-up and I would have changed my plans and my desired pick-up date. I incurred hundreds of dollars in rental car charges because my car arrived 3 weeks after I needed it.

Unfortunately in this industry, lead time doesn't help get a carrier secured sooner. We don't guarantee dates, and always recommend having a back up plan when scheduling. We do our best to inform everyone that shipping during the holidays will have problems. Glad to hear the carrier picked up and delivered your car safely once we were out of the holiday mess.
