This car transportation was stressful and annoying. I live in WV but my agent told me WV wasn't the best place to pick up my car, no problem, I went out of my way to drive an hour to Pittsburgh so it would be an easier pick up for the carrier. The day before my car was to be picked up I was suppose to receive a call with my carrier, but I ended up reaching out to the company (not my carrier) before the day ended. They told me my carrier would be at the location around 12:00pm. No problem. On the day my carrier was to pick up my car, he messaged me around 9:30am saying that if I could meet him at a destination point he was comfortable with. At first I said yes (bad mistake on my part) but then I researched where the location was from my starting point in WV, it would be an hour and 45 minute drive because the traffic was so backed up. I proceed to tell my carrier that I wouldn't have anyone to drive me back to my destination (which would be my work at 2:00pm in Pittsburgh). He then said he would drive me back to my work location...Let's pause right there...The destination that I specifically wrote down to pick up my car WAS MY WORK ADDRESS, he then said he would drive me back to MY WORK ADDRESS after he picked up my car at this unknown location. What was the point in picking up my car at this unknown location, if you were going to drive me back to the location we were suppose to pick up my car in the first place? (By the way the location that I wanted to meet has a huge parking lot) .I call David to see what I should do, because this carrier at this point is stressing me out, but it doesn't stop there. So I hurry up and get dressed and leave the house around 9:45 because I had things to do before this pick up. Around 10:00pm the carrier calls me wondering where I am because he's at the destination. I reply by saying I live almost an hour and 45 minutes away from the location, I called yesterday and you were suppose to meet me at MY LOCATION at 12:00pm. He still didn't get it and proceeds to call and message me where I'm at, at this point I'm on the road I don't answer my phone unless I'm pulled over- and I wasn't pulling over for each of his messages stating where I was. So I finally get a call from David, he said I can cancel with him because he's not meeting me at the proper location and could look up other carriers, which would delay my car getting to CA or he can meet you at the location that you want. At this point I'm just annoyed, I told him to meet me at the location or I'm canceling with him. He now wants to meet me at the location I said to meet in the first place, now I'm waiting for him to get to my location. -_- So the car is finally picked up. You think the stress would go down NOPE. So the carrier calls me two days before the car was to arrive at my location in CA. I told him my plane gets there Monday morning at 10:45am. I could meet you at my location, which is my apartment around 1:00pm because of travel time. He keeps asking me if a friend can pick it up ,someone I know, or can he just leave it there. I said no. I want to be the person to pick up my car. He then keeps going on about my car being picked up. My boyfriend steps in and says we will see you at our apartment at 1:00pm. The carrier was fine after that. THEN on SUNDAY he says no I can't wait till the afternoon or evening. My stress levels are going through THE ROOF at this point. I said I'm meeting you at my apartment to pick up my car at 1:00pm that's final. So my boyfriend and I finally arrive in LA at 10:45am we get to our apartment at 12:30pm. I call my carrier to see if he's here yet? HE THEN ASKS US AFTER OUR 5 HOUR FLIGHT AND HOUR CAR RIDE TO OUR APARTMENT, IF WE COULD DRIVE TO HIS GARAGE BECAUSE HIS TRUCK BROKE DOWN!!! NO, especially right after we paid for a shuttle to drive us to our apartment! I said call me when you get your truck fixed, I will meet you at my apartment like we planned in the first place. He arrives with my car 4:30pm (which he said he couldn't do). He's rushing my inspection of the car to make sure everything is okay. I noticed that my car was filthy with dirt and leaves. After all of this, I will not be doing this again with either people.
