More money does not get you better service and serious lack of communication caused me a lot of stress and embarrassment.

After having several companies not do a good job, I thought I would just spend more money to get the job done. I spent an extra $200 over competing services to have my car shipped. At the end of the day it was the same frustrating service as the cheaper companies.

My favorite part was I spoke with the truck driver who said he may or may not deliver it "tomorrow". Cool...but I need to know if I need to take a day off of work. He said he would call that night for sure. No phone call. I called him multiple times and left voice mails. No response. I called their dispatch company. Nothing. So I contacted Scott at Ship a Car direct...and nothing (and this is his job!). So I went to work.

Now as a school teacher, I want you to know it is not easy to just leave work. The kids are coming every hour of every day. So imagine my surprise when the truck driver calls me at 8 AM and says he will be delivering it in two hours. What!?!! Where was my phone call the night before? Where was Scott from Ship a Car Direct? I am now scrambling to write sub plans, emailing teachers to cover the last 6 hours of the day, and I look very unprofessional as I go to the office and tell them I have to leave. Truly embarrassing.

So yeah...all car shipping companies suck. Including this one.
