Late and unprofessional

I had a firm pick up deadline. I told the representative who set up my contract that I absolutely needed the vehicle picked up before Friday of the week pick up was to occur because I was going to be on a flight that evening (Friday) out of the State. The driver called me and told me that the truck "broke down" and caused him to be 12 hours late and would not be able to pick up the vehicle until Saturday. This caused a massive problem on my end and hassle. Then on the delivery side, the driver kept calling me and asking me for direction despite having my address and I live in a regular location that clearly comes up on ANY gps/phone/internet search. Finally, the drive called and said he was 1.5 miles from my house and wanted me to come meet him to pick my vehicle up. This was of course unacceptable as I had no way of getting there besides walking. I paid $1,000 to have my car picked up and shipped in what I was assured was essentially "door to door" service. Not only did they violate the express agreement of my firm deadline, which caused me significant problems, but then the unprofessional calls asking the customer for direction and then asking me to walk 1.5 miles to come get my vehicle was less then acceptable. Ultimately the driver did make his way to my street and he brought the vehicle to my drive way. The drive was extremely nice and courteous but for the price I paid with the express provisions, this was not a satisfactory completion of the job.
