I can't say I had a terrible experience but I could have for sure had a better one. I went with Ship a Car Direct because of all the high ratings, when it's your car it counts. Ultimately communication was the downfall. I was lead to believe my car would be picked up on a specific day. No one ever called to confirm or follow up. I always had to call to get information. It was until the day before after I made arrangements that I found out my car would actually be picked up the following day. Thanks for letting me know. Overall it's disappointing, I must have heard from Scott, 3 separate times before I actually booked. After I booked he couldn't even call to tell me the pickup date. For the amount I paid, I'll use another service next time.

So sorry to hear you were disappointed with our service. It surprises most folks to learn that transport schedules are confirmed only within a day or two of pick-up - no matter how far in advance you place your order. Since you placed your order a month in advance, we simply did not have a date to give you in advance. It's is an industry-wide reality which makes car shipping very unlike other services (like booking air travel). We should have been more clear in advance that there would not be news for you until the week of pick-up.
