I have shipped my car a few times across the country in the past, so I had an idea of how the process works. I requested a few quotes from several transport brokers. Ultimately, I selected Ship A Car Direct due to their high ratings across websites and how they handled challenges when they occurred. Coincidentally, they gave me the lowest quote as well. Overall, it was a smooth transaction with a surprisingly quick turnaround time.

Details: About a week before my desired pickup date (Tuesday), I requested a quote via the Ship A Car website and received both an e-mail and telephone call from Stefan within the same day. Stefan from Ship A Car Direct was professional and helpful. He answered all my questions honestly and gave me some straightforward guidance. Within 24 hours of placing an order, Stefan found a carrier and Brian from MGL Trucking called me that same day (Wednesday) to tell me he would pickup my car on Friday. (Sidenote: I would have preferred a pickup date 2 to 3 days later [Sunday or Monday], but I did state Friday was my earliest availability and I was able to be flexible.) On Thursday, Stefan sent a helpful e-mail about what to expect and with extra tips. Also, Brian called again to check-in and let me know the details of the pickup to occur the following day. Due to large truck accessibility issues at my vehicle's point of origin, I had to drive about 5 miles to meet Brian at his truck on Friday, which I anticipated given past experience and did not mind doing. Brian reviewed the paperwork with me and there were no surprises- he expected to arrive at my destination on Tuesday or Wednesday. He even arranged a ride back home for me. On Monday, Brian called to notify me that he would be arriving at my destination on Tuesday night. My car was delivered about a block away from my destination address where it was easier to unload. My car arrived at nighttime and was exceptionally dirty, which I expected because of winter storms, but it was difficult to assess any potential damages. (After a carwash, no damages were found.) Three days later, Dale from Ship A Car Direct contacted me about how to redeem my rebate.
