Poor Communication

There is a lot to review about having my 2009 Honda CR-V being shipped from Pennsylvania to California. I used Ship-A-Car Direct as my primary company and my 3rd party shipper was AY Trucking from Pennsylvania. Tom is a great guy and the driver was very kind. Around 5 days into my transport, I called Ship-A-Car Direct and they informed me that my car was locked in a yard and has not been picked up. Well this made me angry as a customer because I watched my car load onto a truck. After that, I called AY Trucking and they tried to tell me that my car was for an Auction. That made me more angry as well, but I kindly asked them to give me my driver's number and they did. I did make contact with my driver and he was broken down in Texas, but failed to contact me about what was going on. Overall, there were many miscommunications. Even though there were many negatives compared to positives, I am just happy that my car made it to my new location. I would highly recommend to work with Tom from Ship-A-Car Direct if you choose this company.
