We hired SVP using a referral from our neighbour to ship a luxury SUV from St. John's NL to Toronto. We were a bit wary of doing this because of the possibility of theft, damage etc. Steve Burley was very prompt in all of our emails and answered all of our telephone calls. He explained what was happening at all times. The car shipping business seems complex; like all other brokers, SVP contracts out to shipping companies to create a route either by sea, rail or road or combination. The fastest leg and ironically furthest distance for our vehicle was by sea from St. John's to Montreal. At Montreal, it was shipped by land to Toronto and took a little longer than we expected but certainly not unreasonable and Steve helped move things along. One thing that we realized is that the operation may seem a bit clandestine, but understand this is a necessary step to ensure security of your vehicle. We plan to ship another vehicle with SVP.
