I had a domestic car shipped from NL,Canada to Ottawa,Canada. Steve was extremely helpful and prompt during the initial booking procedure, so I definitely had trust in using this service for my vehicle. However, after the estimated time window, I emailed and called and did not get a response. Turns out my vehicle had been at the destination dealership for a number of days which I was not aware of. When I showed up to pick it up, the dealership told me they knew nothing about my vehicle, even thought I could see it in the parking lot. I called and emailed Steve. I received an email back stating that he was not available to call the dealership because of an appointment. I ended up spending hours in the waiting area of the dealership while they looked for the key to my car. Then once found they did not believe it was my vehicle and I had to show multiple documents to prove it. Obviously there was major communication error here, but it was also frustrating to not get any assistance from SVP during this time. I am fortunate that me vehicle hadn't been broken into or even stolen from the lot, given that the dealership claimed zero knowledge of it being there. Will not be using this service again.

This persons vehicle arrived at the dealership afterhours, so the key was placed in the overnight key box at the dealership. When our office was opened after the weekend, the owner was notified, and they mentioned they would pick it up in a few days. As the Service Manager (who we made the arrangement with) was on vacation, we let the Service Department know that the owner would becoming to pick up his vehicle. Since the keys were dropped off in the overnight key box, it took a little time for the Service Department to go through the keys that arrived over the weekend. At no time was the owners vehicle in a position that I could be damaged or stolen, and when people arrive to pick up their vehicle at any dealership, terminal, or secure compound the owner is always asked to show documentation proving it is their vehicle. No one hands over a vehicle to someone with out any proof, this just does not happen.
