Do not use SAP Transport

I learned the hard way why you shouldn’t use this company. I recently moved to a new state for a job and I decided to have my vehicle shipped to me. Since I was moving for work, I needed the vehicle by a certain time. I was told by multiple people this would not be a problem. Sadly, things did not go as planned. I had to keep calling them once I got to my destination to see when they would deliver my vehicle. Finally, I was told it would be days after the initial date the company had promised me I’d have my car before it arrived. Since I needed the car for work, I obviously couldn’t wait that long. After spending hours on the phone, I was told there was no way my car was going to be delivered, even though it had arrived four days ago and was apparently just sitting in the lot. The manager said they were “busy,” but if I needed the car that badly, then she told me I could pick it up myself. Which meant I had to drive all the way out to their company lot and take time out of my schedule to do their job for them. When I said it was ridiculous to pay full price for a service I wasn’t receiving, the manager eventually agreed to take a measly $50 off the price. She claimed it was fair because the driver had driven with my vehicle on his truck for 2,000 miles...seriously. Except, the vehicle wasn’t delivered on time, which is kind of important. Plus, I didn’t have a car, so any refund I got was useless considering I had to take an Uber. But here’s where we get to the good part. When I got to the lot to pick up my car, not only was it completely filthy, but the windshield was cracked. The employee who was checking the car out to me - Katie - said that the driver had not put anything on the paperwork about windshield damage when he picked the vehicle up. Which means the transport company did it. I was given a company email to reach out to so they verify whether or not they were at fault (they were, and the paperwork proved it) and if they needed to pay for the cracked windshield. They refused to pay for it. Not wanting to deal with SAP Transport anymore, I just reached out to State Farm and they took care of it. Lesson learned: Whatever you do, avoid SAP Transport! They will not deliver your car on time and when they damage your vehicle they won’t take any responsibility for it. So do yourself a favor by staying far away from SAP Transport and finding a more reliable company.
