I was quoted under $1,000 originally and then it went upto $1,025. I paid the deposit. Yes the car was picked up on the day I needed. They told me they only use the best transportation companies to ship cars. Well, that was a big lie. They co tract to who ever will accept the contract. TES was the one who picked my car up. TES has a 0.3 star review on transport reviews. So obviously they use just whoever they want. The driver picked the car up and I was under the assumption they would contact me to tell me they picked my car up. Well, they dont contact you at all. I emailed and called road runner and they said theres no contact until the driver is 2 hours away. I asked if they could atleast co tact the driver and ask to make sure the delivery date was still what I was quoted. They said they would contact dispatch and email me. Never received an email. I finally get a call 4 days later from the driver of TES transportation. The driver speaks zero English and I ended up texting him. He says he cant meet me at my residence and to meet him at lowes which is about 10 miles away. We have very wide roads leading into our apartment and have seen atleast 6 different delivery companies drop cars off and have zero issues. I even sent pictures to the driver and he said no to meet him at lowes at 4pm and that he was 30 minutes away. They are supposed to call 2r hours prior to give a time frame and then call 2 hours before they arrive. In the co tract it states that if I'm late or cant get there within 30 minutes they have a dry run penalty and if the drop off goes over 30 mi uses they will add another dry run fee. Well the driver was an hour late and litterally backed the car off the truck and handed me the bill of lading and said sign here. I said I wanted to walk around the car and check for damage. He rolled his eyes. The car was delivered filthy and muddy. My buddy washed and waxed it before pick up. I understand transporting in open trailer it will be dirty but this was beyond dirty. Being active duty army I have shipped 4 cars and never received this level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. I emailed roadrunner about having to get an uber to lowes and what happened and all they emailed me back was look at your contract and see this certain section. No apology just a rude email. They got their money and they are done. Do not use roadrunner transportation or TES transportation. Save yourself money and contact an actual shipping company who cares about their customers.
