Shipping went ok but quotes are misleading

I would have given 5 stars if not for the following: the quote provided was not firm nor fixed despite what the rep communicated. Roadrunner passes any carrier additional fees onto the customer AFTER the fixed quote is provided. This was ONLY communicated to me when I was told that the driver was en-route and adding a “high demand fee". I told them to cancel the order.Then they said no problem we will find another carrier.Then the same thing happened, but this time the driver was adding a large surcharge to process my credit card. At this point I was so fed up I just agreed to it. Other than this bait and switch, my car arrived safely and the driver communicated with me often along the way with his ETA – he was actually very good..

Unfortunately, your delivery location is off route and not frequented by our carrier network. Every carrier does have their own pricing as they are owner-operators and the cost was higher than expected.
