This is our 2nd car to east coast for my daughter. First round ( in spring ) no issues a few years ago. Our most recent, was not as smooth. Online estimate and booking process was excellent, including email data. Once assigned to driver, our first conflict: trying to confirm the date and am/pm pick up. I tried to be patient and flexible with driver, SUV was picked up as 1 day later at 9 pm in local Home Depot lot. Driver did call one hour prior to pick up. At time, driver was told that my daughter works 2 jobs and that delivery will have to be worked out, especially since he could not commit to a day. The driver told us that he would be able to work out delivery with her and stated most likely at night. He wrote on paperwork “ night delivery.” Online estimate delivery stated December 11, well he called her on December 7 told her 9 am only and could care less that she was working. Hospital professionals can not just walk away, especially on a Sunday. She tried to state lunch break ( 11:30/12 noon) and he refused to listen, told her 9 am only. She could not leave unit at hospital, boyfriend also working and NO family in Pittsburgh. She was beyond frustrated. Calling sick was not an option, she was only OT on unit. She had to start calling friends and trying to find someone. My dates for pick up December 2 or 3. Pick up date was either Tuesday nite and as per driver will park car at his house until Thursday transport day ( in a town near me which crime is high) or Wednesday nite late 8-9 pm. SUV is two years old. So frustration for pick up and delivery.
