My husband chose to ship his Camaro ZL1 through Rite Way Auto Transit. Pick up was okay, although there was no confirmation of driver picking up vehicle until driver was 10 mins away from home. Pick up was in Washington and was on March 2nd. We were told the car would be at our new location in Georgia on March 12th at the latest. We received no contact throughout the move. Finally on March 10th we tried calling Rite Way, the driving company and the driver and left messages with all and did not hear back until March 12th. The drivers phone number was not even set up and said voicemail wasn't available. We were about to report the car stolen when we finally heard back that the truck had broke down in Missouri and they didn't have enough dispatchers to call and let us know this for 2 days. The car finally arrived on the 13th at around 5pm. The car, which we chose to ship in an enclosed trailed because it has never seen rain, arrived covered in mud and dirty. Immediately after it was dropped off my husband was washing it and noticed a huge chip out of the wing. He called and left a message with Rite Way. They called us back the next morning and informed us there was nothing they could do because the company that they had gone through with our car was now black listed. We are very upset about the whole shipment, lack of communication throughout the move and with how our car was handled. Would never recommend this company.
