Hi all, I'd like to say that I am very pleased with Philam's Auto Transport. I am a grad student, and since I was going to go school in Mississippi which is wayyy across the country from CA, shipping the car was the way to go. Although it may have been cheaper to drive there, my car is a '99 Mazda Protege and I think my car would have broken down along the way because I wasn't too sure what else about the car needed to be serviced. I had never shipped a car before, and didn't know how it all worked. A family friend referred me to Gilbert and he was so, so helpful in the process in finding a driver. When he told me a driver canceled on him, he was very prompt in finding another one by the end of the day. He was very honest and the quote I received was exactly what I paid for. I heard stories about so many shady brokers that would charge more than how much they initially quoted and leave you in the red.

My car was driven by the same truck drivers and they were also great from picking it up to dropping it off. There was no damage to the car and the interior was still clean from the day it was shipped. Windows were a little dirty, but it was definitely washed from the Southern rain. You will expect the car to be dirtier than when you ship it. That's why you clean it beforehand! The delivery time was a lot faster than I expected too! I had a friend who got his car shipped to Boston and it took 19 days for him to receive it. Ouch. I suppose with using Philam's, that won't be the case. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer.

To the students, parents, and everyone else that are either first timers or seasoned shippers: Go with Philam's. They are the best!
