We called PTS Auto Carriers/Evans Car Carriers to pick up our 2003 Ford Handicap accessible van from our Tampa Florida home and deliver to St Louis Missouri. They scheduled it to be picked up Wednesday April 28th. Not hearing from PTS Auto Carriers/Evans Car Carriers we called to confirm the scheduled pick up day. PTS told us it would not be until Thursday April 29th. Later that same day the driver called and said it would now be Friday April 30th for pick up. They finally got to Tampa around noon. I made arrangements to meet them, Lindsey and Daniel Miller, at Home Depot to load the van on their two-vehicle trailer. They loaded it then informed me they were going to the beach in Clearwater Florida to take their daughter swimming. They gave me an ETA for Saturday May 1 around noon delivery. I proceeded to walk home. Was this a business or pleasure trip??????? Now come Saturday May 1st my drop off connection calls and says it didn’t make it at noon and Lindsey text him it would probably be past 5 before delivery. Then another text saying it will probably be later than 11pm. or 1am Sunday morning. Then another they want to make drop off at 2pm Sunday May 2nd. My drop off is at a business closed on weekends, as is PTS Auto Carriers/Evans Car Carriers. This was all prearranged to be dropped off by Friday April 30th. while the business was still open. We had to scramble and change other arrangements to try and meet deliver. Lindsey called me later after all the texts to my drop off guy and tried to explain. My reaction is, Regardless of all the excuses the hold experience was bad. I was put off two days from original pick up time and then had to try to plan a weekend delivery to a business that does not have weekend hours. My Drop off guy arranged for drop off at a commuter parking lot. It got there but my understanding was there was a confutation between the driver, Daniel Miller, and my drop off guy. This almost led to calling the police. This is not a way to run a business. It is very unprofessional. I would not recommend using PTS Auto Carriers/Evans Car Carriers. They look professional from their web and FB but, the drivers we got were not. Kind of makes one wonder who will be coming to your door!!!!! By the way should Daniel, (who has Diabetes), or anyone be driving any cargo with having Diabetes????? Shipping Wars next episode!!!!!!!!
