A sign of a good business is when you get satisfactory service at a fair price. But the sign of a truly GREAT business is when unplanned mishaps happen and the business steps up and makes things right. I bought a very hard to find and rare car (took a year to find it) in Texas and had it shipped to me in California. The process setting up the shipping went smoothly and the service representative, Max, explained the whole process to me, and provided timely updates at pickup and during transport. My car arrived on time and in good condition. Unfortunately, after it was dropped off, the transport rig rolled backwards, as the driver was pulling away and clipped the side of my bumper. I was upset, but accidents happen, it was a rainy day and hard to see. The driver was very apologetic and immediately refunded me $400, of my cash payment, as a deposit for a repair. I called Max at #1 Auto Transport to let him know what happened, and he was very re-assuring that the car would be completely fixed. Within 20 minutes the owner, Sam, called to also check in with me. Sam called me every day during the repair process, even emailed additional helpful information. After I submitted the body shop repair quote, the balance of the repair payment arrived promptly. The bumper looks great. This is the first time I had a car shipped, and so very happy it was with this company. Take a few minutes to read on-line reviews of other auto transport companies and you will see the horror stories of cars getting damaged and the car owners left hanging to pay for their own repairs. #1 Auto Transport is 5-star rated for a reason, they are outstanding and just do the right thing when things don't go as planned. Have referred them to a friend who works at a car dealer. Thank you Sam and Max!!
