DISHONEST, TERRIBLE COMPANY, NEVER USE THEM FOR SHIPPING, JUST CONTACT A LOCAL DRIVER. Would give zero stars if possible. So I first began the process of dealing with this company a few months ago when I needed to ship my vehicle from Ohio to Mississippi. At first their customer service agents were nice, friendly and helpful. Answering all of my questions and actually answering their phones. However about a 3 weeks ago I went ahead and placed my order with an agent named William. William was condescending, talked over me, and questioned my intelligence, overall he was pretty rude but I figured one bad apple shouldn't spoil the whole batch....Boy was I wrong. William assured me that the car would be picked up between Tuesday(the day I placed the order) and the following Saturday, and be delivered 2 days from the pickup date. Therefore, the car would be here at my location no later than Monday the following week. Well after I placed my order my aunt took off work at the pickup location in order to be there for the smooth shipping of the vehicle and allowing entrance to the vehicle behind a fence. By Friday when I had not heard anything from the company, I tried calling and spoke to an agent who's name I've forgotten, he assured me that they were trying to find a driver and would let me know as soon as they did. Saturday passed with no call. The company finally called me Sunday and said they had a driver to pick up the vehicle on Monday and deliver by Tuesday. My aunt was then called by the shipping drivers and she was asked if she had a way to get the vehicle onto the truck(The car is dead and I payed extra for inoperable shipping). I then interestingly received an "update" on monday late in the afternoon. The truck had "broke down", and wouldn't be able to pickup my car. They assured me that they would find another driver soon. I called back daily until finally on Thursday I was emailed that the order had been set and a driver was assigned. They never called me. I had to call them. Again my aunt had to take off of her work and waste time out of her day for nothing because on Friday we were told that the second driver's truck had broken down as well. At this point people in the company were talking me in circles and claimed they couldn't find another driver to ship the vehicle and would have to wait till monday when the driver could have his truck fixed. At this point the vehicle was a little more than a week late from when William had confidently promised me. I asked to speak to a manager about what was going on that Friday. I was on hold waiting to speak to him for 45 minutes when I was hung up on. I called back and a new person answered (shifts changed) and she informed me that the manager was on the other line and would call me back the following day. That never happened. I called back on sunday, no help. I called back on monday and the manager Nicholas was not in yet, But I was assured that he would call me back. He didn't again. I called at the end of my work day and finally talked to him. He claimed that he was trying to talk to the truck driver in order to work out a discount. But couldn't reach him, eventhough I had talked to the driver with the very number Nexus gave m...... I told him that the driver was not at fault and that they we're the ones that owed me a discount(nexus). Then he told me that I was supposed to pay the Driver, not Nexus itself. Which is the complete opposite of what William told me in the beginning. He had told me to make a check out to Nexus Auto for the remaining total after the deposit. So I was lied to on multiple occasions. Nicholas assured me he would call me about a discounted rate later that night or before the truck driver reached me, because he had picked it up on monday. Tuesday, hours before the driver arrived, still no call from Nicholas. I once again had to call him, interestingly they would not answer my calls when I tried the existing order extension, so I had to dial the new order extension in order to talk to anyone. (this had been happening since the first truck "broke down") Once again I finally was able to talk to their "manager" Nicholas who "couldn't help me" and told me that it was the truck drivers fault for being late, Which it wasn't. It was a failure on their part, from their business end of finding drivers and doing their jobs. Nicholas did not offer me any kind of refund for the deposit, and told me that the Truck driver again was at fault and owed me a discount. When the driver arrived I talked to him, he was a local driver, an honest man doing his job. I payed him in full because it was not his fault the brokering company (NEXUS) had failed around every corner to quickly and successfully ship my vehicle. In the originally promised timeframe. I hope that this review encourages people to boycott this company and avoid it like the plague. Everyone was rude, unprofessional, untimely, and overall dishonest. In the future if I need car shipping services I will just use a local truck driver like my final driver, who got the job done, and cut out the middle man of these broker companies.
