I was quoted 550 for the transportation of my Vehicle. Their price was in the middle of the quotes. When I received the contract to sign it was 625 with a "discount that may be used by the carrier" of $75. I was a little unclear what that meant. I had stated I want in a hurry and wanted to stick with the quoted price. The next day I was offered a driver but it would be $100 more. I declined this driver and restated I want to stay within the quote and wasn't under a time constraint. The next day they called my Step mother and said a driver would meet her at a location near her home to pick the car up.. and by the way it is 100 more than was quoted. She phoned me to tell me and I told her I did not authorize the extra charge. She called them back and they said if we refused this driver we would lose the $200 deposit ( their fee) as they only offer 2 times. Then New Way offered to split the difference. We agreed. So now my understanding is by price would be 600. I was charged 450 ( plus 200 deposit)at delivery time. I have asked for New way to stand by their deal of splitting the 100 up charge and still have not received a check. I have no complaint about the Service of the driver and actual transportation. I feel New Way tactics were not acceptable by making making it sound to my step mother that I had authorized the additional fee , Them offing to split the difference and not standing by that. I would not used this company based on my experience with them.
