Beware shipping with Motorcycle Moving. They appear to use multiple names also using D2DTransport. I shipped my motorcycle from Colorado to Hawaii through them. The fellow who picked it up was from another moving company, Philly Express Enclosed, LLC. I'm not sure they are with Motorcycle Movers or not. The vehicle used to transport the bike was nothing like the ad, it was a pickup truck pulling an enclosed trailer. My problem with the company was in additional storage fees I had to pay because they dropped of the bike to the shipping company in San Diego too early. They normally have a two or three day window where storage fees do not occur and I discussed this with the Motorcycle Moving contact because I didn't want to incur any additional costs. I was told it was no problem and they would get the bike there on time without storage fees. Three days after the bike was picked up I was contacted through Motorcycle Moving by the San Diego shipping company that I was liable for five days storage, another $125. Motorcycle Movers basically dropped my bike at the pier and left. I had to pay the folks in San Diego by credit card that day, there was nothing I could do about the situation. I tried to get Motorcycle Movers to at least split the cost because this was not my fault in any way. I asked "How come you picked up my bike and delivered it so early to the boat. Isn't coordinating those things your business?' I was told ' It's really difficult to schedule these things and we can't get in touch with our drivers." After a few days of calling back they finally told me they couldn't help with the extra costs. And there was no way I could talk with the owner, he was just too busy. So, beware shipping with this company, their customer service is a joke, and they are not entirely honest. Glad I didn't have any other problems.
