Terrible Experience

Looking to ship a car from Las Vegas to San Francisco, I reached out to Montway after reading so many five star reviews. Unfortunately, I did not have that experience at all. Their communication was incredibly professional and polite but the results and focus on detail were abysmal. After hiring Montway as a broker, whose only job is to match my vehicle with a carrier and make sure the vehicle gets to me, everything went wrong. They had specific instructions to pick up the car after Monday the 3rd but had a carrier show up on Saturday the 1st. The pickup never got rescheduled after several calls and chats. They even suggested I call the carrier since they hired someone who would not pick up the telephone or be reached by text or email. You are the broker and why am I paying you? 12 days after my initial order, I cancelled, rebooked with another broker, and had my car in San Francisco in less than 2 days. Additionally I saved myself $150 off of their quote. They would not release me from their contract which I requested due to their ineptitude and charged me $199. For your own sanity, I strongly recommend using one of the many other brokers who exist on the internet. If you are buying from a dealer, they often will help arrange shipments for you. At a minimum, put restrictions on the time they have to deliver a solution. If even one person avoids Montway, this review was worth my time. Buyer beware!
