Poor Execution of Delivery

Company told me that they would deliver my vehicle on Sunday between 1-5pm. After 5:00 pm I called the driver then he told me between 6-9pm, continued to wait until 10pm and texted him to drop the vehicle the following day as it was late. He then called me and told me he is 10 minutes away, and if I postponed, he can only drop the vehicle two days late, so I decided to wait the additional 10 minutes. 10minutes later I went out to the street and waited an additional 20minutes. I then called him again spoke and he could tell me where he was located... I had to pull out information from him to go look for him 11:00pm at night in a new city that I was unfamiliar with. I missed check in for my Airbnb and had to pay an additional 30 dollers to park my car by the hotel I was staying at. Luckily I had an extra night booked at the hotel prior to moving, but my initial plan was to park my car at the Airbnb as there was free parking. Overall not a good customer experience as the company wasn't informing me of these delays prior to the delivery. If I was a new graduate that just moved to the city and went through this experience with homeless people on drugs walking around at night I would have been scared out of my mind trying to resolve this situation.

Delays may occur prior to, and/or during transport due to weather or road conditions, government regulations, mechanical problems, and other causes that are beyond Montway’s control. Despite this, it is absolutely one of our requirements that the driver provides timely updates. For this driver, it was a one-time occurrence.
