I set up a transport of my two cars from NV to GA. Price was reasonable, $1900 for both cars. Told it would be the 25th of the month with the 26th as back up. A week prior I call Montway to verify the pick up and the agent says the driver will call me, could be the 25th or up to 5 days later. What?? I wasn't even going to be in town after that as we were moving 3 days later. I can't do that, so he says you can do the "Premium Service" where we guarantee a date for pick up. This cost me about another $350 to guarantee a 26th pick up. Once we went through that it was fine, the drivers showed up as scheduled and they had two drivers so now it was a 2-day delivery. Again surprised, so had to set up someone to receive the cars. The day of the delivery, I get a call from the driver saying they can't deliver to my home as the roads are too narrow for him, so he will drop it off at the Walmart 20 miles away. Again, a surprise. I worked with the driver and the folks who were picking it up for me to find a place closer which the driver agreed to. So the car was dropped off when agreed to. Overall, the info I was given initially wasn't complete, and I was surprised with extra costs and situations but both cars showed up fine and quickly. I'd use Montway again (this was our second time) but ask questions ahead of time to avoid the surprises at the last minute.
