They would be getting negative stars if i had the option. I have never used a transporter before and I relied on these reviews to choose Montway for my shipping services. Unfortunately I got the raw end of the deal after everything was said and done. I spoke to the Montway reps at least three or four times before committing to using them for their services. I was assured that in the event that something would go wrong I would have a team from Montway that would assist me in alleviating any issues. This was the farthest from the truth. Ultimately I did have an issue with the car Being damaged upon delivery. The same day delivery happened, I filed a claim with Montway to start the process. I called them to ensure that i handled it the appropriate way. On direction from the representative I filed the claim via email. No less than 24 hours later I received an email from my weight stating that I filed the claim 1-day after delivery was completed which is 100% false. They went on to state that due to the gap in time between the delivery date and the report date, it will be difficult to attribute the reported issue to the transport as the motor carrier cannot account for the time in which the vehicle was not in their possession. I don’t understand how this is even possible considering I filed the claim within seven hours of delivery. I could go on and on but ultimately I want people to read this review and understand what they are potentially getting into when it comes to dealing with Montway. There are many many different options out there so I feel it’s in your best interest to skip Montway and look elsewhere.
