We were very happy with the pick up. That went according to plan. I met the truck down the road from our house because of small, hilly roads. The pleasant drive loaded our car, we did the paper work and he was off. Where we had some confusions was with the delivery in Santa Barbara. We told the company that no-one was available in our condo to pay the driver so it had to be after we had arrived on December 17. Somehow, the delivery kept being scheduled earlier, before we arrived. Finally, we got that message across, but then the delivery took several days AFTER December 18. Once it arrived, all was well. The car was very clean, the driver very polite. And the car in good order. Unfortunately, I remembered the wrong amount that was due, so I had made out a Cashier's check for $1K when we really only owed $970. However, that was my fault not the company's! I would use Montway again, but only if there could be better communication around delivery. Now that we know how it works, we may just suggest a date several days after arrival from the start. We had to rent a car for the days waiting for delivery anyway, so perhaps we could organize things that way in a future set up. Best Wishes E. Ann Kaplan
