Carrier Joyrode my Car

Montway referred my transport request out to Diesel Auto Express for my Audi S4 from Georgia to Washington this last December. When the car arrived, the car had no gas. When the car was put on the transport in Georgia, it had over a 1/2 tank. The car has a stage3 build and very fast - it was very apparent the carrier service decided to take my car out for a little spin and burnt the clutch and basically abused the crap out of it. I'm pretty sure they're not even supposed to take the car off the truck. I filed a claim but according to USDOT, motor carriers are not required to document mileage at the time of pickup or delivery. Since I didn't document or take any pics of odometer upon pick-up, I basically have no legal recourse to sue the carrier service. BE WARNED and REMEMBER to ALWAYS DOCUMENT mileage at the time of pick up and delivery. I hope people learn from my mistake.

Hello Jason, we're sorry to hear that there was an issue with your service. We indicate as part of our booking confirmation that at the time of pickup and delivery, the customer and Carrier will carefully inspect the vehicle and will both acknowledge the condition of the vehicle. This is done via the Bill of Lading and is the most important document in auto transport, as it acts as both a receipt and an inspection report. Our claims team has reached out to you in order to assist with your reported issue. We ask that you reply to them as soon as possible.
