Real bad car shipping experience with Montway

Really bad decision to ship my car with Montway transport. It all started two weeks back. First they assigned me dispatch, unfortunately, my friend was out of town. I had to reschedule it. I called them up to reschedule it on Thursday or Friday between 8-12 PM. They arranged for a dispatch on Friday and called me and up said that truck driver is ready to pick up between the above mentioned time. When I called up the truck driver he said he can't be there before 12. I requested my friend to be little bit flexible on time. He agreed to wait till 6 in the evening. Around 3 I called up the truck driver to see if he can do it by 6. He was still doubtful. I called montway and asked them convince the truck driver to be there by 6 but what they did was cancel the order saying that he can't do it by that time and I was never informed of that. I did call them up around 5 and their representative informed that my dispatch was canceled. When I tried to question her about the cancellation, she was quite arrogant in her tone and replied that this what we can do and you should be available between 8 AM -8 PM if the dispatch happens on that day. I was quite taken aback.

Whole point if writing this review is to let you all know that, they just assign you car shipping to another third party company and don't coordinate well between the driver and end customer which is their only in this whole process. whatever ETA's or instruction that we request them is not properly conveyed to the driver. My humble request to MONTWAY IS MAKE SURE YOU PROVIDE CUSTOMERS WITH AN ETA or TIME FRAME FOR DELIVERY AND PICKUP. I HAD TOTAL UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.

We thank you for sharing your experience and regret to learn you are unsatisfied with the service received thus far. The customer booked an order on 6/5/17 with a first available date of 6/15/17. Montway initially assigned a carrier company to transport the customer's vehicle on 6/14/17. The customer was informed of the estimated pick up for 6/14/17(One day before the First available date) and an estimated delivery date of 6/15/17-6/16/17. Unfortunately, the backup contact arrangement the customer had for the pickup time was unavailable and unable to coordinate a time with the driver. Montway accommodated this situation begin to look for another carrier that would work better with the needs of the customer. Montway then assigned another carrier company on 6/16/17 but the carrier company canceled as the pickup contact was unavailable to release the vehicle. We then assigned a third carrier company and was provided estimated pick up and delivery dates. Please note upon each dispatch the customer is contacted and informed of the dates via courtesy phone call and an automated email. The customer was aware of the dates each time and agreed to them. Montway is, in fact, a broker and carrier. We ask that every customer and/or potential customer please take the time and review all information on our website to ensure they completely understand our terms prior to booking. In this transaction, Montway played the broker and accommodated the customer's needs on three different occasions. We understand that most of our customers have time restraints and although we do our very best to make accommodations. At this time we ask that the customer contacts us directly for any questions/concerns as we would be more than happy to assist them. We appreciate your time
