Compensation offered to cover up and silence negative review!

BEWARE: Montway offered me compensation after my negative experience in exchange for promising to not post negative reviews on social media and review websites! Their ratings are skewed because of this and are not to be trusted!

I shipped a Porsche Cayman from the Indianapolis metro to Northern California in Dec 2016 and had a pretty mediocre experience. Montway's website/quoting system was great but their communication was infrequent and the transport carrier they contracted, to do the actual transporting, was stressful and frustrating to deal with. After I submitted my feedback to Montway (at their request), they offered to compensate me with a $50 gift card but ONLY IF I PROMISE NOT TO POST NEGATIVE REVIEWS about Montway or the contracted carrier. I passed on the compensation offer as my voice is worth much more.

Getting compensation in exchange for silencing my voice is BS, immoral, sketchy, and disgusting. I chose them due to their positive reviews and high volume but this appears to be deception as I have no idea how many negative experiences were covered up with their compensation approach.

Pro tip: save money and book directly with a bottom tier transport company (instead of Montway or a broker), or spend more to get a top tier transport company.

Note: Montway has a half dozen regional Yelp pages so this review is going on them all since Montway is a single nationwide company.
