No pickup or refund of deposit

Would not recommend. In December 2016, I made a deposit and scheduled a pickup on 01/03/17. On 01/06/17, after no pick up, order was cancelled and acknowledged by Montway. As of 01/10/17, I have not received my refund of deposit despite numerous requests. In the meantime, another company has picked up my vehicle and it is on the way.

What you will receive to your inquires as to pick up is a boilerplate email from multiple people telling you how hard they are working to find a truck for you car. Looks like there game is to low ball and let the order sit until they find a trucker that has no work and stall you as long as they can. Would not consider using again.

We appreciate you sharing your experience and regret to have lost your business. All dates in the transport industry are estimated. We do not guarantee dates nor do we inform customers of such. In fact, we are very transparent with our estimated date policy as it is discussed during booking, explicitly written on our website and is included throughout all written communication sent to customers after booking. Our service is clearly explained and documented, as Montway offers a 1 to 5-business day pickup window from the first available date the vehicle is ready for pickup. The first available date provided by the customer was 1/3, meaning according to the terms agreed upon, we would secure a driver before or by 1/10. Being an authority in the auto transport industry for over 10 years we assure our dispatch team goes above and beyond for each order to get the vehicle transported. Unfortunately, in this particular instance, as we began to work on the order, we soon learned the customer was utilizing multiple brokers, a tactic that may seem to the help speed up the process, when in reality within the auto transport industry, actually has the opposite affect- causing unnecessary competition among the drivers, leading to price increases and delays in route scheduling. A prompt refund was processed upon receiving the cancellation, so we kindly ask the customer to check with his bank as we have no control over their bank's processing times or when they return the funds to the customer's account.
