Transport was fine, communication was sloppy

I think my pickup was delayed because Montway did not communicate properly with the trucker Safe Way Auto.

I was originally told by someone the pickup would be the 22nd, then I got an email saying 19th. Then nobody could get a hold of the trucking company because their phone number was disconnected. Turns out Safe Way changed their number and Montway had an old number. because of the apparent 3 day delay in pickup, Montway ditched Safe Way and started looking for a new carrier. Then on the 21st I got a call from Safe way saying they would be ready for pickup the next day

So that was pretty sloppy, but when the truck driver was in town ready to pick up I figured I'd rather just get the car shipped then worry about why these two companies couldnt figure out how to talk to each other

The car arrived cross-country in only 6 days. i was very impressed by that. There was no external damage and the driver was polite and courteous when he gave me the car. There were no issue in the actual transport of the car. Despite the initial mishaps, I was still happy with the time it took for my car to arrive

The reality is, some times issues might occur but it is how we resolve these issues. In this situation the first carrier was unavailable and we quickly arranged the pickup with a different carrier. We have the biggest carrier database in the industry and we work with professional carriers only. We are pleased to know that you are happy with the service you received.
