I had a worst experience with Mercury for shipping my car. I want to share my experience so that others are aware of it. This is the first time i had to ship my car. I did some market research and placed request on internet portals. I started getting quotation from various companies and Mercury was one of them. Based on price, i categorized quotation in 3 ways, i.e. low, medium and high. I preferred to pick medium range quote to have trust on price and services. Eric La Gra was the agent who approached me and confirmed he need 5 days time slot to ship my vehicle. He did nothing to ship my car and started bringing hidden surprises every day and increasing price day by day. As 5 days slot which i picked was my last 5 days at source so I started getting stress due to delay in shipping. He was very rude and lying the fact everyday. As it was my need to get car, I had to ship it any cost and trust me I paid more than the highest price which i had received. Broker Eric's mode of business is to send quotation with the average price from market and keep customer in dark; Judging the need of a customer and then bring him/her to bargain mode and charge the highest money you can pull from customer. If you want to have peaceful shipping trust me skip this company and agent and go with highest bidder. Trust me you are going to pay either same amount or more than what you get from highest price bidder.
