The cost covering the transportation was reasonable and well worth it. It would have cost more to have a friend or myself drive the car from California to Michigan. The whole transaction was performed in a very professional manner. Josh Maurice, Mercury Auto Transport, explained very thoroughly how the procedure works, that he worked for a broker and as such there was a flat fee for the service; he would post the information, and find a Transporter that would cost $700, which he did and he and Brian, the secondary contact person, answered any and all questions and kept on top of the matter until the car was picked up. There were no hidden cost surprises. The Transporter Company, James Michael, was excellent. They kept to the schedule that they had promised for pickup and delivery of the vehicle. The Transporter Company called the day before delivery, with the time at which to expect the car, which was a nice courtesy. Curb side pick up and curb side delivery, the car was even delivered to the garage door. Very personable driver. Was well pleased with the whole transaction.
