I went with another company and was disapointed when information was not straight forward. I have never shipped a vehicle before so this was very confusing. I was sent many quotes and after my pickup date passed and I had not heard from them I contacted mercury and talked to Charlie. He was very helpful on the phone and told me that no company should expect a deposit until the vehicle was picked up by a driver. Knowing that I wanted my vehicle to leave on that Tuesday, and this now being wed. I decided to go with mercury. He told me he would contact as soon as a carrier was available and he would let me decide if I wanted to go with them or not. Friday morning I got a phone call that I could have my vehicle shipped Friday, Sat., or Sun. I went with friday, The driver called me that afternoon and told me he would be picking up the vehicle within the hour, and did. I was told that they require five to seven days to deliver, I asked the driver when he thought the vehicle would arrive in California and he told me he was leaving Michigan that night and would arrive Monday evening in Ca. My son called me Monday at about eleven AM Ca. time and told me he called the driver who said he was about three hours away and would contact him as soon as he was in the area, well by one PM my son had his truck. Most carriers tell you it will be about seven days to find a carrier and then seven to ten days to deliver, I was given no guarentee with Charlie but he said he would do his best, and did. The driver was very nice and helpful, when we contacted him, he called us right back and also my son to assure him of his schedule. If I ever need to transport a vehicle again I would call Mercury without a doubt. Very stressful week before going with Mercury, never a doubt once I made the decision to go with them. Thank you Charlie and Mercury for everything.
