Amazing! What more can I say?

My husband, Carey, sent out quote requests to 17 different companies. When the quotes started coming in most companies both called and e-mailed. Scott called and talked to me for a short time going over how Mercury was different from other companies in the way they both charge and refund monies, check driver backgrounds, require drivers to have cargo insurance, etc. I was sick in bed and knew I would never remember all of this so Scott came up with a clever idea; instead of giving a quote of $550, he made it $550.02 so I would remember him and our conversation by the 2 cents - it worked, I remembered. When I researched all of the companies, checking them on Transport Reviews and the Better Business Bureau (Mercury is 5 star and an A rating by the way), I narrowed it down to 4 companies and Mercury just blew everyone else out of the water. Scott called me from school between classes, Jill remembered my name and what was going on without needing the quote number, and Matthew (the owner) spent over 45 minutes on the phone with me explaining everything! We asked for an open carrier but within 2 days they found an enclosed carrier (only if I wanted it) for $150 more with a driver with 10 years experience. They didn't charge my credit card their fee until the car was loaded on the truck and I paid the driver the remainder C.O.D. when he delivered the car. I just got it off the truck this morning - a 1963 Avanti Studebaker - and they handled it like it was gold. I would not hesitate to use Mercury again or to recommend them to any of my friends.
