Lighting Auto contacted me to take my buick enclave on Mar 28th and gave me lowest quote ($950). I was hesitant at first because all other companies was quoting around $1100 - $1400. But i went to check reviews and decided to go with LAC.

LAC promised me that my car will be on truck next day (29th March) but that didn't happen and other companies contacted me that no driver will take the car from Massachusetts to Colorado for $850 (I guess $100 is for LAC).

So i emailed matt about giving me the driver information and all, He then contacted me and said that rates are gone up and no driver is willing to take the vehicle for quoted charge, He then told me that it's going to be 1050 and LAC is bearing $50 and i have to pay $1000. It's ok if the rate is around $1000 but why did you lie at first place to get the customer. However after getting the dispatch the other company (UZ tranc Inc) picked up my vehicle and delivered at right time.

So this review is for the false promise (Because of that i had to increase my rental car duration hence loosing money) and not timely pickup.

For starters we are very sorry that you are not fully satisfied with the transport. There are several details that were failed to be mentioned. The first of which is why there was an up-charge. The customer needed to fill his car and up and that is not allowed. It is not are rule or are drivers rule it is the DOT. Every company has to follow it. Having a few thing is fine but not filling it up. We did however find a driver that would allow it if the cusotmer agreed to pay the $50.00 at the weight station that he was going to get. We called and told the customer and he then agreed so we sent the driver out there. Now on the contract he signed and agreed to it clearly states we need a 2 day window for pick up. Those 2 days were th 28th and 29th. We told him verbally and it was on his contract. The customer was needed his car delivered on a certain day with a very tight window. We meet that request as well. In the end the car was picked up and dropped off on time and with all the items he wanted in there. He was informed BEFORE we sent the driver that there may be an up charge for the items in the car. He was made aware of his very clearly before contracting with us. We meet all his requests and we even issued him the $50.00 REFUND after he called a week later to express his issue about it ( even though he was informed before booking the order and again before pick up ) We will continue to strave and make all are customers happy not matter what the issue is. The money has been sent back to him and we hope that will make happyin the end.
